Thirty children, thirty spinning plates and one tutor who has seen every possible way to drop one. That is a circus workshop in an Oxford primary school.
We work with one class at a time so that every child gets a proper go at each skill, from hula hoops in Reception up to diabolo tricks in Year 6.
Circus rewards the children who keep trying over the ones who are naturally quick, which is why teachers so often tell us about the pupil who surprised them.
Schools in Headington, Marston and across the city can book a half day, a full day or a whole week, and tie it to PE, a class topic, World Book Week or an end-of-year treat.

Our tutors keep a steady stream of visitors busy all afternoon, teaching the basics in a couple of minutes and then moving on to the next person in line.
The kit covers juggling, diabolo, plate spinning, poi, flower sticks, ribbons and hula hoops, with sizes to suit small hands and tall adults alike.
We can set up for fetes, festivals, open days, birthday parties and family fun days anywhere in Oxford and Oxfordshire.

They are a natural fit for summer balls, fetes, weddings, street parties and corporate receptions across Oxford.
Daytime favourites include jugglers, balloon modellers, face painters and hula hoop artists. After dark, fire performers and LED poi take over.
Many organisers book a walkabout act for the first hour to welcome guests, then a workshop once everyone has arrived.

Hire a Circus Big Top in Oxford
A circus tent does two jobs at once. It gives your event a roof, and it tells everyone for half a mile that something is happening.
Our big tops are available in purple and yellow or white and yellow.
There are three sizes. The 7m is right for workshops and small parties, the 15m suits a school or village event, and the 22m is big enough for a full show.
