A Day of Circus Skills Workshops for Schools
Circus Skills Workshop Days include a short demonstration/show of some of the circus skills to be learnt, plus circus skills workshops in groups of up to 35 at a time. Structured workshops work best for schools and you can have 1 class having multiple sessions or all your classes having sessions one after the other.

Timetabling
It’s quite simple to workout a timetable for the day. Usually we start with a short 15-20 minute demonstration for all the children involved in the school hall and then go on to do the workshops for 30-35 at a time. For a single entry school with 8 classes that would look something like this;
What size space?
For a class of 30-35 we would need an indoor area like a school hall or gymnasium, roughly the same size as a tennis court. The workshops are always better taught indoor as some skills are impossible to teach if there’s wind so indoor is always best!
If you are a 2 or 3 form entry school then you would either need to run the workshops over a couple or 3 days or if you have 2-3 additional spaces, we can send multiple tutors.
The prices for these are simply double or triple depending on what’s required.
The skills taught in the workshops varies slightly from tutor to tutor but generally includes juggling with scarves, balls and clubs, spinning plates, Poi, flower stick, Diabolo, feather balancing, beginners stilts, hula hoop and more.
Generally workshops should be around 30 minutes up to 60 minutes and we insist that our tutor gets a morning break and an hour for lunch.
All of our tutors have DBS certificates and PLI which can be sent if required.
